Your rights
Under the Personal Data Act, you have certain rights that we are legally required to inform you about. You can exercise your rights by sending an email to privacy@copyleftsolutions.com. We will respond as quickly as possible and no later than within 30 days.

You can request a copy of all information we process about you.
Correction of personal data
You can ask us to correct or add information if the data we hold is incorrect or misleading.
Deletion of personal data
In some situations, you have the right to demand that we delete personal data we process about you.

In some situations, you can demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted.

In some situations, for example if we process data about you based on a legitimate interest assessment, you have the right to object to the processing.
Data portability
If we process data about you based on consent or in connection with the fulfillment of an agreement, you have the right to receive an export of the data and, if feasible, to have the data transferred directly to another data controller.
You can also file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you believe we are not processing personal data correctly or that your rights are not being upheld. We hope you contact us first so we can improve.
What information do we collect about you through our website?
We use the analytics tool Matomo (formerly Piwik) to obtain statistics and better understand how visitors use our website. The Matomo installation is on our own server. We de-identify the information after collection, so even though we log information about you, it is immediately anonymized.
Our legal basis is the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interest. The legitimate interest is to "Improve the website".
What other information do we process about you?
If you send us an email, it will contain personal data about you. Our legal basis is the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6(1)(b) - "fulfill an agreement".
Cookies we store
Under the Electronic Communications Act §2-7b, we are required to disclose which cookies we use. The Electronic Communications Act requires consent for the use of cookies, which is a different consent requirement than under the Personal Data Act. The Norwegian Communications Authority enforces the Electronic Communications Act and you can read more about this on their website.
